Dr Nick Manuelpillai (MBBS, MPH, BEng, BCom, FACD) is an Australian-trained specialist dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He is a general dermatologist who provides comprehensive care for both adult and paediatric patients.
Dr Manuelpillai has a broad clinical interest across all areas of dermatology, including skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, acne, rosacea, and autoimmune connective tissue diseases. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care tailored to each individual.
He completed his medical degree at the University of Notre Dame Australia, following a diverse professional background in engineering and health technology. He also holds a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) from the University of New South Wales. His training and experience include public health work in Amsterdam and a dermatology fellowship at the University of Bologna, Italy.
Dr Manuelpillai completed his specialist dermatology training across a number of leading tertiary centres, including Westmead Hospital and The Skin Hospital in Sydney, and in Melbourne at St Vincent’s Hospital, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Western Health, The Royal Children’s Hospital, and the Skin Health Institute. He has been involved as a sub-investigator in multiple clinical trials at the Skin Health Institute and has published research nationally and internationally.
In addition to private practice, Dr Manuelpillai holds clinical appointments at Western Health and the Skin Health Institute, where he is actively involved in the education and supervision of dermatology trainees and junior doctors.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, and playing the trumpet.

- Dr Manuelpillai’s relationship with MEDerm is one of contractor and service provider. Dr Manuelpillai is not an employee of MEDerm.
- Dr Manuelpillai may practise in another facility/location outside MEDerm. It is your right to obtain your clinical notes, and discuss with Dr Manuelpillai the best location to organise your consultation or treatment.
